For maximum control and convenience of mounting attachments like lights and handstops, the M400 boasts a lightweight, sturdy, free-floating M-LOK improved handguard. The lower receiver features an integrated QD mount for simple sling connection and an ambidextrous safety feature for operation with either hand. The M400-TREAD , chambered in 5.56 NATO, features an 11.5″ cold hammer forged steel barrel that improves accuracy and offers exceptional durability and corrosion resistance. The barrel has a very adaptable 1:7 twist rate and is also equipped with a 3-prong flash hider. Additionally, the M400 features a carbine gas system that reduces recoil and facilitates smoother operation. A SIG Matchlite 2-stage trigger is included with the new M400 for better control and accuracy.
